So, This prevents me from logging in to the windows guest as I cannot send the cntrl-alt-del key code. The windows guest is setup to a domain but all my options for sending key codes are greyed out except for 'Send Key Combinations' which has a check mark. I have encountered a weird issue that googling around hasnt really helped. Im running centos7 with teamviewer 12 as a host and windows 7 64bit pro as a guest operating system using Virtualbox.
Is there a group policy overriding the local policy on the relevant machine? (for example, is the machine part of a domain?). 
You are sending CAD via the Ctrl-Alt-Del (Login Signal) menu item (Tools menu) in SimpleGateway. 
In the unlikely event that you are still unable to send Ctrl-Alt-Del after making these changes please check the following: Using this menu item at other times to launch task manager or lock the screen etc will have no effect, however these can be accomplished easily via other means.
